our story

Our duck fat flour tortillas are our pride and joy. Everyday we make over 400 tortillas all by hand, using a dough we learnt from our friends at Sonora in London.

The dough is enriched with duck fat making a fluffy, light tortilla which is unlike any tortilla in Aotearoa.

We don't pretend to make authentic tacos here. In fact we don't use any Mexican ingredients in our dishes, leaning more towards flavours of Taiwan, Southern BBQ & classic English pub food.

Making our own tortillas is a huge effort by our team and we believe these tortillas are what set our food apart.

They aren't just a vessel for our meats and salsas, they are the main event! We believe food is to be shared, and just as this tortilla was shared with us we are happy to share with you so if you wanna ask the team for our tortilla recipe, we have it for you.
